It is estimated that this module will take, on average, 2.5 hours to complete.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to better perform the following functions:
- Explain the regulatory guidelines that govern industry-generated written responses
- Describe the anatomy of a complete written response
- Revise an abstract for accuracy, completeness, grammar, and brevity
- Write an abstract (< 400 words) of a clinical study in a clear, concise fashion
Target Audience:
This module will particularly benefit medical communications professionals within their first three years of a medical communications position, who need to provide relevant and reliable information to medical professionals regarding the use of particular drugs. It will also benefit any medical communications professional interested in Medical Communications certification, or any health care professional interested in enhancing their knowledge of medical writing.

If you complete each module of the certificate program and receive a passing score of 80% on each module exam, you are eligible to receive the DIA Medical Communications Certificate.
