In its commitment to the goal of continuously improving professional practice, DIA makes critical information available to members in a variety of timely and useful formats. DIA gives you a neutral, global forum, completely independent from the influence of any one organization or authority,

in which you can learn about advances, issues, regulations, and trends from the perspective of healthcare companies, academic institutions, and governmental regulatory agencies alike.

DIA offers members access to a wide variety of activities and resources such as:

DIA Career Center
Academic Alliances
Member Affinity Program
Membership Directory
Volunteer Opportunities and Professional Recognition
Educational Offerings

The voluntary efforts of members like you have allowed DIA to grow and expand over the past 40 years, making it possible to provide programs, networking, and publications at a reasonable and competitive cost. We hope that you, as a member of DIA, will become involved and help shape the future of your association as well as the future of the entire healthcare industry. DIA offers a wide variety of activities from which you can benefit, and in which you can participate, such as:

Communities and Networking
Communitites and Networking Providing members with opportunities for networking and leadership is an important objective of DIA. Being able to share common experiences with professional colleagues in a neutral, global forum is one of the main reasons members join DIA. Attend a DIA conference, training course or other offering, to network with other professionals who share your interest in that topic. Special Interest Area Communities (SIACs) create a global network
of member subgroups who share the same professional responsibilities, disciplines, or interests. SIAC participation helps DIA ensure that workshops, conferences, training courses, publications, and other offerings meet the real needs, goals, and concerns of that specific professional community, and is limited to DIA members only. DIA members can also network with each other through the online Membership Directory.
