Judy Connors serves as the Associate Director of Editorial Services and provides strategic leadership to deliver content that promotes the DIA brand through our publications and website. In this role, Judy directs the research and development of all DIA editorial content for publications (print and digital) to align with the organization’s strategic plan and to capitalize on product development across all regions and departments.
A seasoned publishing professional, Judy brings over 25 years experience in the production, procurement and development of diverse types of written and digital communications in the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields leading successful editorial teams to produce excellent, cutting edge content and exceed organizational goals. She has broad experience in the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical companies such as Wyeth, Endo, and AstraZeneca; non-profit associations such as the American Association of Financial Service Professionals and ad agencies including MultiMedia Communications, Complete Healthcare Communications and VOX Medica.
Memberships include the Council of Science Editors (CSE), Society of Non-Profits (SNOP), and the Society of Scholarly Publishing (SSP) and is currently pursuing her CSE certification in scholarly publication management. Judy holds a BA in English from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and an MA in 19th Century American Literature from Villanova University, where she published her thesis on the “Feminist Aesthetic of Louisa May Alcott” and wrote a book on transcendentalist author Walt Whitman.
