NOTICE: Unauthorized Companies Soliciting Housing for DIA Annual Meeting
It has come to our attention that unauthorized companies are calling DIA exhibitors and meeting attendees offering hotel reservations for the DIA 2013 Annual Meeting. Please be advised that the only company authorized to arrange hotel reservations for DIA attendees is Travel Planners, and they do not solicit reservations by phone. If you receive a call or email from a company offering to make your hotel reservation, we urge you not to use their services. While the rates may sound good, unauthorized companies typically require pre-paid reservations, which include steep cancellation and change fees. Reservations are usually non-refundable, and often move individuals to other hotels. If you make a reservation with any provider other than Travel Planners, DIA will not be able to assist you with any problems you may encounter with the terms of a third-party agreement.
