The DIA Board of Directors is elected by the DIA membership and has responsibility for setting DIA’s strategic direction, providing fiscal oversight, enhancing DIA’s public standing, and strengthening DIA’s programs and services.
As part of their service, DIA Board members meet four times per year: at the EuroMeeting in March/April, at the Annual Meeting (North America) in June, and twice in the second half of the calendar year. Board members also serve on standing committees that meet virtually and face-to-face as needed to conduct DIA work.
The “Call for Nominations” is open to all DIA members during the fall each year. The final slate is approved by the Board and put forth to the membership for their vote per the DIA Bylaws.
