Biography:
Born in Izmit on 1962. Continued her education in Izmir and Istanbul.
Educated on Chemistry & Technical College and Economy (3 years). Still continues her education on Faculty of Business Administration. Worked in different industries on 1980 – 1982 and in different projects at TUBITAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey), Chemical Technology Institute and NATO projects as well as Boron project on 1982 – 1990.
Entered into Pharmaceutical industry on 1990. Worked with generic and original companies at Eczacibasi on 1990 - 1994. These companies include Astra, Warner Lambert, Solvay Duphar, Janssen,
Johnson and Johnson, Boehringer, BMS, Shering, Beisdorg, Rhone Poulenc, Baxter, Procter & Gamble. Worked as Manager with such companies for registration dossiers and manufacturing coordination.
Established Government and Regulatory Department for Eli Lilly Turkey on 1994-2001 and conducted Lilly’s license applications and market access in Turkey. Also provided the Market access.
Earned international awards at Lilly.
Conducted Menarini Turkey operation on 2001-2002. Served in management. Worked at I. Ulagay firm as Regulatory, Government and Market access manager.
Started to work at Boehringer Ingelheim as Regulatory & QA and Government Relations Manager on September, 2002. Within this period, conducted all reimbursement processes of the company being responsible from market access for 9 years. Worked on the company’s first pharmacoeconomy dossiers with LSE. Prepared different projects on rational drug and made several personal patent applications on this and became the first person who obtained their patents in Turkey. She also has patent studies in progress. Served as news reporter from Turkey in Regulatory Affairs Journal for 6 years. Her articles on different topics have been published. Her works in different projects about regulatory, GMP, Quality and health lobbying are still continued. Involves in a new initiative on rational drug. She has
