Title

Not all commercially available splitting devices are sufficiently accurate and precise to use in clinical practice

Abstract Summary

Hundred paracetamol tablets were split 3 times with 3 devices: a Lifetime and PillTool splitter and a kitchen knife (Blokker warehouse). The weight of tablets splitted by the right and left side of the splitter was determined and recalculated into the dose. Thirty tablets were also broken by hand.
