Abstract Summary

A nested case-control design was conducted to evaluate the association of anticholinergic use and risk of incident pneumonia among the elderly with no history of pneumonia. Anticholinergic medication use, using the Anticholinergic Drug Scale (ADS), was examined 30 days before the event date.
