Panel Discussion: "Sustainable Healthcare Systems - Did we think about the citizen?

Healthcare is usually designed around and for, but seldom with, citizens and patients – despite the fact that prevention activities or treatment highly depend on their collaboration. The panel discussion will be about the role of citizens and patients in healthcare and health systems. It will discuss what policies are needed to create more participative health systems, e.g. health literacy, how broader stakeholder involvement can address challenges in access, health outcomes, and how citizen- and patient-centred policies can contribute to sustainable health systems in the future.
