Statistics is critical to the design and analysis of clinical trials, which are a long and costly process. This 2-day basic- to intermediate-level training workshop is designed to give a broad introduction to clinical trials, the essentials of statistical principles and their application to clinical trials to help participants understand the statistical thinking in the designs and analyses at various stages of clinical development. It is an essential course to those who have regular exposure to statistics either through studies or professional experience. The workshop will feature as well statistical application in oncology clinical development. Real case examples will be embedded throughout the workshop to enhance the understanding of the course content.
