- recognition of finance professionals as the pharmaceutical industry's finance specialists;
- communication and networking among finance professionals from pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, development support organizations, and regulatory agencies;
- education and training of financial specialists to ensure professional success and growth; and
- innovation and integration of new technologies and processes supporting management of pharmaceutical finance.
