Description

Symphony Clinical ResearchSM
Orchestrating Trials in MotionSM

Symphony is the global leader in providing alternate-site and in-home clinical trial services to study subjects.  When your patients cannot get to the site, we are able to take selected protocol visits to them, in a location that is convenient.  Through partnerships with our highly trained, extensive global network of nurses and other clinicians, we enable trial subjects in several countries throughout the world to participate in clinical trials.

Symphony in-home services offer the ability to lower overall costs of clinical trials, shorten the study length, reduce the number of patients and sites necessary and help to bring drugs to market faster while increasing patient convenience and quality of life.  Our services have been shown to accelerate enrollment, enhance compliance, and improve retention rates.

We act as a liaison between the clinical trial subject, investigator sites, homecare agencies, central and local laboratories, pharmacies and sponsor biopharma companies and their CRO’s.  Services provided include:  study drug administration, blood collection (PK, PD draws), sample collection, training and education, assessments, vital signs, concomitant medications and more.

In-home services can be used in all therapeutic areas, ranging from Phase I-IV, Observational studies and Registries, involving patient populations from Pediatrics through Geriatrics.  Having provided services to more than 125 trials to date, we comply with ICH/GCP, IATA, privacy rules and other regulations.

Our in-home services have been successfully utilized in NDA studies resulting in 4 drugs approved by the FDA and 1 rare disease drug that has achieved orphan drug status.
