Dr. Jennifer Riggins has been an active and engaged member of the Drug Information Association (DIA) since 1995. She is a member of both the Medical Communications (MC) and Medical Writing (MW) Special Interest Area Communities (SIACs). Through the years, Dr. Riggins has been a devoted volunteer serving as a speaker, session chair, program chair, SIAC core committee member, MC Workshop program chair, MC annual meeting track chair and on numerous program committees and task forces. Dr. Riggins served as the Advisory Council of North America (ACNA) representative on the DIA Board’s strategic committee on Global Community Development and as the MC Representative to the ACNA. Dr. Riggins currently serves as the Chair of the ACNA and as a member of the DIA Board of Directors. Dr. Jennifer Riggins received her PharmD degree from Butler University College of Pharmacy in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Upon graduation, she joined Eli Lilly and Company. Since joining Lilly, Jennifer has been a leader in the development and continued globalization effort of the Global Medical Information (GMI) and Global Medical Communications (GMC) departments. Dr. Riggins has provided active involvement and leadership to numerous projects within GMI and GMC including strategy development and implementation, tools and technology, people development, six sigma, external outreach, outsourcing, training, quality, metrics, and value. Dr. Riggins currently serves as Director of Global Information Disclosure and is focused on developing and enabling e-capability solutions based on innovative and customer preferred channels to enhance interactions between customers and global medical affairs and development.
