Biography:
He graduated as General Physician on 1982 from the University of Mexico. From 1983 until 1986 he did a residence in Respirology at the General Hospital of Mexico, where he continued his professional career conducting clinical research and having clinical practice. He obtained a Master Degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Mexico in 1988, and completed a second Master Degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Economics at the McMaster University on Ontario, Canada, in 1992. He has extensive leadership training, including Marketing, Strategic Planning, and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
He joined MSD-Mexico in 1993 as a Medical Manager, and during almost 15 years at Merck he covered positions in Marketing, Outcome Research, Pharmacy Benefit Management, and Clinical Research as Director of Clinical Operations, where he had responsibilities both clinical and administrative for all Clinical Research conducted in Mexico.
In 2007 he joined PPD Mexico, as Director of Clinical Operations in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, providing strategic leadership and management to ensure the successful completion of clinical deliverables for the studies conducted in the region.
