Biography:
Mr.Hidetoshi Shuto is Corporate Executive, Vice President and Head of Japan Development Operation in Astellas Pharma Inc. He graduated from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kyoto University in 1980. He joined Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.(Current Astellas Pharma Inc.) and worked for Licensing department, Research Planning department and Clinical Development department from 1980 to 2001. In 2002, he transferred to Fujisawa Healthcare Inc (Current Astellas Pharma US) in Illinois, US to assume the position of Senior Director, Drug Development Project Management from 2002 to 2005.
