Biography:

Dr. Nimita Limaye, a Doctorate in Biotechnology from Pune University, is currently working as Sr VP and Global Head (CDM, Medical Writing and SCEDAM (The Strategic Centre of Excellence for Data, Analysis & Medical Writing) at SIRO Clinpharm Pvt. Ltd. and is leading a team of about 150 professionals. In her current role, she leads up SCEDAM, the SBU for strategic partnerships. She plays a key role in winning and establishing key engagements, ensuring sustainability and profitability and driving outsourcing strategy. She has also been trained as a ‘Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma’ and plays a key role in driving operational excellence. Also drives global integration. Responsible for establishing both the SCEDAM SBU and CEMW (a medical writing training institute), she is responsible for driving key outsourcing strategy. Trained as a ‘Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma’, she plays a key role in driving operational excellence and innovation as well. She is the past Chair of the Society of Clinical Data Management and also chairs the DIA India Medical Writing Working Group. She is on the DIA Advisory Council of India and is the Program Co-Chair for the DIA India Annual Conference, 2012 and is also on the DIA SIAC Leadership Council. She has over sixteen years of industry experience, working across both local and global CROs and pharma companies. She has presented at various international meetings and has several publications to her credit.
