Professional individuals from all fields related to the mission of the DIA are invited to submit a poster to be displayed at the DIA 2015 51st Annual Meeting that will be held June 14-18 in Washington DC. The Professional Poster Program is an opportunity for you to present your research to a diverse group of scientific professionals who are actively involved in the discovery, development, and life cycle management of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and health care related products.

ORAL POSTER PRESENTATIONS
Take your poster to the podium!

Accepted abstract authors will have the opportunity to present their work from the podium in addition to displaying their poster onsite at the DIA 2015 51st Annual Meeting. Podium presentations will be 5 minutes in length and include Q&A with the audience. Additional information regarding this year’s oral poster presentation opportunity will be included in the acceptance letter.
 
ACCEPTED POSTER PRESENTERS WILL RECEIVE:

  • The presenting author will receive a 10% discount* off their registration to the DIA 51st Annual Meeting.
  • Accepted abstracts will have a display board in the designated poster networking area on-site at the DIA Annual Meeting in Washington, DC
  • Accepted abstracts will be posted on the DIA 2015 51st Annual Meeting Website
  • Abstract title and lead author will be printed in the final program that is distributed to Annual Meeting attendees
  • Accepted abstracts will be published in an official DIA publication

*The discount will be applied to the presenting author’s registration category, is nontransferable, and cannot be combined with other offers.

The Student Poster Program is an opportunity for eligible students to present research results to a diverse group of scientific professionals who are actively involved in the discovery, development, and life cycle management of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare related products.

BENEFITS:

  • One complimentary meeting registration to attend the DIA 2015 51st Annual Meeting for one listed author
  • A maximum of three nights’ hotel accommodations (room and tax only) at the DIA assigned hotel
  • One round trip, coach airline ticket to Washington DC
  • Up to $50 per day reimbursement for meeting-related expenses for a maximum of three days
  • One-year student membership to DIA
  • Accepted abstracts will also be published in the Annual Meeting Final Program and posted on the DIA website. Additional publication opportunities may be available as we encourage all accepted abstract authors to prepare a manuscript for submission to either Therapeutic Innovation & Regulatory Science (TIRS), DIA’s scholarly peer-reviewed journal or the Global Forum, DIA association member news magazine.

Student Posters 

The opportunity to attend DIA was beneficial in multiple ways. First, I had the chance to showcase my research – this was invaluable – because senior colleagues ask quite thought provoking questions which will certainly be of major help when writing up the paper. Second, I attended excellent sessions, which were practical and educational.... Third, DIA was a great networking opportunity. I have made links with my peers and also with senior colleagues....
