Implications of Comparative Effectiveness Research for Health Care Innovation Tuesday, June 15, 8:00 - 9:30AM
Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER) has become a centerpiece of US health reform and an essential tool in managing the rapidly escalating costs of new treatments and technologies. This session will convene a high-level panel to explore the drug development implications of creating a patient-centered and consumer-driven health care marketplace and outline what is required to develop and maintain a Comparative Effectiveness Research/Health Technology Assessment program with the end result of better and expedited patient care.
