To serve as a unified voice that defines best practices for system validation and validation within the pharmaceutical, device, and manufacturing industry, influencing vendors and communicating with regulatory agencies, globally, with regard to validation standards and technologies. Other objectives include:
- interpretation of current and developing health authority guidances and regulations and their impact on business practices and to provide a common language from which to present ideas; and
- establishment of effective communication channels to agencies and vendors.
