Solicitation Warning – FAIR Guide
It has once again come to our attention that our DIA 2013 49th Annual Meeting Exhibitors are being solicited by FAIR Guide/Construct Data/Expo-Guide. Please be advised this company is in no way associated with DIA and uses very unfair selling practices, including fine print in which this “free” service becomes $1,717. For more information on this scam and what you can do if you have completed and returned their form, please visit the warning page of the International Association of Exhibits and Events (IAEE). If you’re not sure if a company is authorized by DIA, just check our Authorized Vendor List online!
A/V Ordering Now Available
If you needed to order Audio/Visual (A/V) for your booth, but have not been able to do so, you may do so now! The official A/V vendor is PROJECTION and download the online order form.
Products from ExpoBadge
ExpoBadge is excited to introduce several new products for this year’s Annual Meeting, including the Mobile App Lead Retrieval System for Apple or Android products. The Mobile App adds additional mobility and flexibility and may be used as a standalone or in conjunction with traditional scanners. For more information or to order, please see their information in the Exhibitor Resource Center.
Also NEW THIS YEAR is the QR Code tent card and the Digital Literature Kiosk. The QR Code tent card allows you to choose the product or service you want to feature and for the attendee to collect that information digitally. The Digital Literature Kiosk allows you to post collateral and marketing materials digitally and tracks attendee interest in specific products and services. This service helps you save money while also helping to save the environment.

Priority Points for 2014 Booth Selection
Your booth space, Marketing/Supporter spend and loyalty to the DIA Annual Meeting impact your priority point ranking which dictates the order for selecting space for the DIA 2014 50th Annual Meeting in San Diego. As such, we would like to remind you that the deadline for your Marketing/Supporter agreements to impact your 2014 point ranking is April 30, 2013.
NEW THIS YEAR! Many of the Marketing & Industry Support Opportunities include additional complimentary registrations. If you need additional staff above what is included in your booth space, you may want to consider an option that gives your company some increased visibility, as well as allowing you to register additional staff members. Opportunities such as hosting the Hotel Door Drop, Cyber Café, or even the Company Logo Carpet Inlays include two additional booth personnel registrations. Business Suites on the Exhibit floor for holding private meetings also include 2 to 4 additional booth personnel registrations. Contact: Craig Baker at +1.703.679.3942 (Companies A-L) or Michele LaFrance at +1.703.679.3951 (Companies M-Z) for more information.
Just Announced! Email Marketing Opportunity
DIA would like to announce our new Pre Registration Email Blast System by Exhibitor Invites®. The system allows Exhibitors to send an email to the pre-registered participants of the DIA 2013 49th Annual Meeting. Only 20 slots available! For pricing and additional information, please contact Craig Baker at +1.703.679.3942 (Companies A-L) or Michele LaFrance at +1.703.679.3951 (Companies M-Z).
LAST CALL! White Paper Showcase and Innovation Theater Presentations
If you plan on participating in the White Paper Showcase or Innovation Theater, time is quickly running out to be included in the DIA Final Program. For more information refer to page 3 of the Marketing and Industry Support Opportunities brochure. The deadline for inclusion in the printed Final Program is Monday, April 22.
Speaker Promotion on the DIA YouTube Channel
Is anyone from your organization presenting at this year’s Annual Meeting? If so, invite them to promote their speaker’s presentation virally through video. Record a 30-60 second video and DIA will upload it to the DIA YouTube Channel. All they have to do is. . . reference the date and time of the presentation, what attendees can expect to learn, and why the topic is important and email the video to DIA. There is no deadline to participate, but the earlier a clip is uploaded the more exposure it will receive!
